Advice on settings and mixed focal and medial treatments

I'm leaving my input and anyone please feel free to jump in. I have had my machine for at least 2 years now. I realized I had alot of issues going on. High cholesterol,  high BP, no exercise etc.
I did some pneumatic treatments at least 3 years ago. I had so many negative factors going on that any gains were temporary.  I did notice that their settings were about 2.5 bars and 12-15hz. I bought my machine shortly after that and cranked it up to over 4 bars, thinking more is better. The tool went dormant typically.  I gave up on it.
After 9 months of exercise and diet changes, I was ready to try again. I had been experiencing significant night time woodies without any treatment. Lost the spare tire and at least 30 lbs.
I went to a clinic that did focal shockwave which is electric shock, not pneumatic.  Pricey but I did notice good improvement after a few treatments.  Their settings were different.  2.5 bars, 90 mj, and about 4hz. Very low settings from previous use. After that experience and reading this forum, I decided that less might be better. Any dormancy was typically just a few days after treatment.
I read an article that mixing focal with the radial (pneumatic) was very effective.  After 4 focal treatments at clinic, I pulled out the home machine.  1 to 2 treatments per week for another 3-4 weeks. Settings 2.5-3 bars, 4-6hz. Much lower than before.  Seemed to see immediate continued improvement wo the major dormancy. Maybe just a day or two. 1500-2000 hits each side and 1k on crua. I set crua up a little higher 3.5 bars and 6 hz.
I am now taking low level cialis and taking a break for 6 weeks? I will go back to the mixed treatments after the break. The situation is better. I think I can probably get it done with good dose of viagra. Night erections are significant and consistent.
Any one with further experience on settings at this point? I'm curious as to the break time length and what happens during that break. Do you see continued improvement? Any change in settings on a second round recommended?
I did notice your hz setting is much higher than mine - your hz setting is much more like the first clinic I visited years ago.
I will continue to post. I am just starting the 6 week break now. I will start treatments up again in mid to late January
Thanks all. The posts here about settings were of great help.

Re: Advice on settings and mixed focal and medial treatments

So have  you improved enough to have sex or was that never really a problem?

Re: Advice on settings and mixed focal and medial treatments

It was a problem. I have improved enough now with use of at least 50mg viagra to have sex. It could definitely be better though..
A year ago, viagra didn't work. No over  night wood. Felt like an empty balloon.  No blood flow.

I need to add that I'm not sure if the shockwave alone would have worked for me. I spent months changing diet and exercising etc. There was improvement based on that alone. When I did shockwave 3 years ago without any changes in diet etc, there were some results but it didn't last that long plus I did my own shockwave at High settings. If you read the experience on this site, that can set you back months. I just gave up for a while after that.
