Hi.... Major ED for over a year (not sure why)

Hello,

Im a 47 year old, who had always suffered from performance anxiety since my late teens. Once I found Viagra and Cialis, my life changed for the better. I used them from my late 20s until about 2 years ago, when they started to no longer work for me. I started using the highest available doses, which would work for a few weeks, but then I would have no reaction at all. This was starting to effect my marriage in a huge way, because I was pulling away from my wife, and not giving her much attention, for fear that she would want to have sex, and I wouldnt be able to perform.

I finally spoke to a urologist and we found out my Testosterone was extremely low (160). After getting that back on track, my ED did not improve at all. So, he put me on Trimix.  OH MAN!! I got so hard on .1-.2 that I felt lie I was a porn star. My wife and I were both so happy again... After about 4-5 months, I started noticing that I was not getting as hard when using it. I started upping the dose, and soon I was using .8 just to get hard enough for intercourse (maybe about a 70% erection). My Urologist changed the mixture to a stronger version, but that didnt do much more then make my penis feel more fuller, and I also felt more pain after the injections.

At this point, I fear I have venous leakage, because I cant come up with any other reason. The last thing I want is surgery, so my last option is Shockwave therapy. But, they charge so much for it, and I couldnt afford it. I started looking into buying a machine, but most are out of my price range. I finally purchased an SW15 and started reading Dick's blog. I'm not sure if I'm doing everything right, from the head Im using to the strength, to the amount of shocks per treatment.

I have completed 5 treatments now and have not noticed a whole lot of change with the exception of one.... I have experienced morning wood a few times. It has never been rock hard (maybe 60-70%) but this is something I have not experienced in at least 1.5-2 years. Hopefully that means good things are on the horizon! Good luck to you all.

Hi jrwolfman, Have you tried doing kegel exercises? They MAY help with venous leakege. I think dicklimppen started doing kegels a few weeks ago. Maybe he'll chime in with his experience

JR Wolfman,

Your story is my story. Viagra worked at first then stopped. Trimix worked, but then I had to keep getting stronger and larger doses. What shockwave has done for me is reduce the amount of trimix I have to use.

Re: Hi.... Major ED for over a year (not sure why)

Dick,
Thats what I thought was so great about your blog. I felt like our stories are almost identical. I would be happy if I could get to a point were I was back to using only .2 Trimix. I would be really happy if I was back to only using pills, And, it would be a dream come true if I didnt have to use anything.

Quick note: About a week ago, I woke up with a bit of morning wood. My wife was excited, and I was able to penetrate without anything. It was only about 60% erection, but I was still able to do it. I havnt had that happen since, but I'm hoping that's a sign of good things to come, You blog has been a huge help. Im the one that sent you over those directions a few days ago.

Good luck and stay healthy.

Re: Hi.... Major ED for over a year (not sure why)

Pleasework,

I have incorporated kegels into my daily routine about 3 weeks ago. I dont think I have noticed an improvement yet, but I heard it can take about a month before you see any signs that things are improving (Im hopeful it helps). I have recently started to concentrate more on the muscle that makes your penis move up and down. I remember as a younger person I was able to do that all the time, but now, I can barely make it do more then flinch a bit. I feel like there has to be at least some sort of a connection to it and my issues. Any advise you can give, is always very welcomed.

Stay healthy

Re: Hi.... Major ED for over a year (not sure why)

Im not sure I remember "that" mucscle  Maibe dick will coment regarding his kegel progress.  I did them forb about a month and a half. I didn't do much good for erections. I did help with orgasm intensity and improved ejaculation force. TMI WARNING: My wife often gives me hand jobs. She commented that semen was landing on her belly & chest. That is with an erection that isn't capable of penetration. Imagine if it was a solid erection. Prior to that it just kind of oozed out. Sorry of thats TMI but its what I've found
