Re: Hello gentlemen!

Remember that it may take 6 weeks before seeing any progress.

Re: Hello gentlemen!

Hello Dick,

Thanks for the observation. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to wait for a few weeks to see if anything good happens before I try another round. I finished the last round about 2 weeks ago, so I figured that I would wait until after Christmas before doing anything else.

Do you think that would make sense?

Re: Hello gentlemen!

I feel you, Badger. This is disappointing indeed
My machine just came in, not even unpacked. I'll update on my progress.
You may want to try low dose (5-10mg) Cialis (tadalafil) every day in conjunction with therapy. There's a study someone mentioned that found this produced overall better results. Besides, a little of Cialis ED will reduce your prostate size a bit, better blood flow and urination (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tadalafil#Benign_prostatic_hypertrophy and see reference #21 below that article).

Take care

Re: Hello gentlemen!

Hello comer,

Some months ago (before I got my shockwave machine) I did try low daily dose of tadalafil for a while, and it did seem to help a little. Nothing startling, but more like I was a few years ago. I have not tried it since I got the machine, mostly because I wanted to assess what results I might get from shockwave alone.

I suspect you may be right, though, and the combination of daily tadalafil with shockwave therapy might get me somewhere. I may well give that a try - thanks for the suggestion!

Congratulations on getting your machine. Despite a lack of conspicuous success in my case (so far, anyway...) I do get the impression that it is a well-built machine, and I wish you every success with yours. I will be most interested to hear how you get on, and whether you find any problems with the treatment handle. If it does start working weakly or intermittently, try rotating the handle relative to the hose by a small amount - just 1/4 to 1/2 turn and see if it improves. It works on mine.

It seems strange that the treatment handle seem to be the weak point on many shockwave machines. I know Dick and several others have had problems with their treatment handles, and this made me think that a pneumatic machine might be a safer bet than the more common electromagnetic models. It seems that I may have been mistaken in that assumption. I guess that the handle gets a lot of stress to contend with, irrespective of how it works.
