Re: First Week of DIY Treatment

Hi Chiwood and thank you for your posts.I'm just beginning my second week and have been doing sort of a combination between the recommendation for the machine I have and the Storz video on youtube with Dr.Lars Lund. Both of the methods only use shocks to the top of the penis and the crura. So far Im doing 2000 to the top and 500 each crura(last week i did two days with one off and two days again.Since you have had great results I'm wondering how many areas and how many shocks per area you are doing? Of course I would appreciate any comments and recommendations from anyone else here. Thanks to Dicklimpen for creating this forum!

Re: First Week of DIY Treatment

zozbosmeek, as a low energy and moderate Hz believer, I have also started to reduce the number of total shockWaves - that was the one area I was higher than most in settings.  I was doing 6500 over various locations on the penis and crura.  But, I have recently been doing fewer at 250 shocks and moved it around more and stoping at a total of 5000,

Good Luck!

Re: First Week of DIY Treatment

Alright, time for an update!

So since starting my DIY journey back in March I have become a true believer in ShockWave and a big advocate of low energy and moderate Hz settings. When I did my first treatment my ED was such that I was unable to get hard enough for intercourse. At my last update, I was very happy now getting hard enough for intercourse and losing my stress over it.  My main goals moved to get harder (like in the good old days,) staying hard for longer - as while I was getting hard enough for intercourse, it sometimes faded before I was done. And after it faded it was mostly over - no amount of attention would bring it back to attention. I also wanted to get hard faster - it was slow to get moving.

So as we get into Fall weather how am I doing?  GREAT!  My penis is getting so hard, that it almost hurts in a good way. It is staying hard much longer, and I can consistently go for a second round if needed.

As far as my ultimate goals am still not getting spontaneous erections, and it still takes more time than it used to before I get hard.  But, at this point, I almost feel like I am greedy to want better performance.

I remain a huge advocate of low energy. My setting are 15 MJ to 20 MJ using the largest head for the applicator with moderate Hz  I do around 8Hz.  I am now also doing fewer total shockWaves at 5000 once a week. I also took all of August off and skip weeks now and than when life is busy.

Also, slow and steady has been my path.  I recommend being patient as Dick has said it takes time for veins to grow. At those low settings, I feel no after-effects and obviously no pain during treatment.

So overall it has worked great!  Good luck fellow DIYers!
