So, my DIY ShockWave worked great. One of the side effects, which I think is normal is I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. My wife has seen my improvement and decided to try it. There is some limited scientific research on this - that suggests that the benefits should be equal. She has suffered from some reduced enjoyment and dryness since menopause as well as she always has to get up in the middle of the night to urinate. I think the bathroom issue is the main driver for her - interesting enough.
She has now done two treatments and I will try to report on her experience as I have mine. Has anyone else shared their machine or aware of any female experience?

JChi,
Could you point me to some of the links about shockwave for women? I've never heard of it.
Thanks,

@JChiwood, how old are you? Is night time urinating related to BPH?

Pleasework- I am 54, and having to get up to pee seems to be pretty normal as we age and gets worse overtime. I can't really speak to BPH.
Dick, it is all pretty questionable studies. Nowhere close to what has been done for men - the few legistmate studies that mention it simply state the clitorial material is basically the same - if you look at the diagram while only the nub comes out - it is actually around the same size as it splits and goes around the vulva and next to the anus. So the studies will just mention that it should work similar - Most of the claims are from clinics like:
