I’ve had my SW10b for about 4 months now with “real” results other than some placebo effects that I noticed early on.
I started off with 12 daily sessions in a row then waited 5 weeks but nothing. Since then I’ve tried all of the things I’ve read in this forum with HARDLY any results. No pun intended.
Although it has helped my knee and hand pains but that’s not what I bought it for.
If you’re had longer term positive results, please let me know what treatment regimen worked.

So it didn't work for you, too bad. How bad is/was your ED?

Could you be a bit more specific about what your treatment consisted of for the 4 months?

I looked at all of the professional treatment videos online and determined that most professionals use 6 to 10 Hz at 20 to 30 mJ for treatments. That’s what I started using with 800 impulses on three places on the dorsal side, one on each side of the base of the penis and two sets on the cura for a total of 5600 pulses per session. I did this for six days a week for two weeks and then waited five weeks for healing time.
Unfortunately nothing happened.
My ED is probably a result of heart problems, resulting in a bypass seven years ago. I have been very healthy ever since, riding about 50 miles a week on my bicycle. The blue pill works but gives me major stomach distress. That’s why I am looking for an alternative plus the spontaneity it could give.
Since then I tried various protocols with 10 to 16 Hz and power settings up to 100 mJs.
No one has answered my question which was “Has anyone on this forum had real long-term results using low intensity shockwave therapy?“
Thank you and good luck with your treatments 😎😎

One thing I forgot to include; I use the 15 mm head

Yes, I have had positie results, nothing crazy, but probably an increase of about 5 points on the 25 hardness scale. this means my penis does not fade half way, which is great. I have also gone from a non-responder to a responder with cailis and viagra. My protocol started at a lower mj than yours and I went ever other day for the first week and than twice a week. After my results were not what I hoped I went up to 30 mj at 14 hz twice and than waited two weeks and repeated. I am still seeing slow improvement and will try a third round in June. But, I have never gone higher than 30 mj and probably won't as I don't want to do damaage.

I loaned my machine to my massage therapist for a month so I haven't been very active but...My swettie and I just spent a month off the grid on our sailboat in the Bahamas and everything worked. I guess the lack of stress and other distractions played a big part. Ours is a naked boat so she would often play with me during the day and voila! instant boner. And I was able to penetrate and ejaculate. Something that hasn't happened too often without drugs. And this was drug free. This happened about once a day but, when returning home I was back to the same old routine; get it up (although a little better than when I started SW), struggle to get it in, and the lose everything within the first minute.
I know that porn is a boner killer and I haven't done much of that but yesterday I tried the blue pill again and that didn't even work successfully. I'm back to daily SW therapy of 2500 pulses to 3 areas on the dorsal side and 2 on the cura. Today I also tried the acupuncture pressure site for sex which is where the muscles all seem to come together just north of your anus. I'm also pumping regularly to see if that will help increase blood flow.
Research shows that muscles in the penis must be relaxed to achieve and keep an erection but..adrenaline associated chemicals that your body generates is a definite boner killer as it restricts blood vessels for the fight or flight routine that's programmed into us. I think this is my major problem. I get excited about penetration and the following sex, because it always feels soooo good, that my body generates chemicals that constrict the blood vessels and flaccid once again. Does anyone have any ideas of how to prevent blood vessel restricting chemicals from entering your system or how to counteract them?
If things don't get better sooner I'm considering a Titan penile implant. Just about guaranteed to work at any time; the drawback, no more natural erections.
Thanks for any feedback any of you guys might have. And does anyone have similar problems to mine?

The fact that things worked on vacation but not at home makes it sound like it's not completely physical. Maybe you should see a sex therapist.I can't see how adrenaline can be the problem. Sexual excitement must always involve adrenaline, I would think.

Excerpt from Boston Medical Group webpage
When you feel anxious, your body releases powerful stress hormones such asepinephrine (also called adrenaline) and norepinephrine. ... This means that even men with none of the main physical causes of erectile dysfunction (ED) can have trouble getting an erection if they feel anxious or nervous before sex.
These factors cause a surge of adrenaline which reduces blood flow to the penile area, often resulting in erectile difficulty. Psychological ED may become self-perpetuating. After several episodes of repeated failure, the body becomes accustomed to releasing adrenaline=16px at the very thought of a sexual encounter.
=16pxSo...you're probably correct. But all of the sex therapists in our area charge $150 per hour and don't accept any insurance. I don't think that the insurance will cover them. The $150 is not the big deal but I hate to waste good money on someone who has a good possibility of being under qualified to do me any good. I've got an appt with supposedly the best ED/Urologist in my area, recommended by my doctor but he's so good that he's booked up until Oct. 25.
