Update: my machine still works great, as does my cock.

I do 2 or 3 treatments a week.  13Hz, 2000 shots x 2-4 times  95 or 105 mJ.

My machine works perfectly.  Its loud when it is operating and the fan that cools the head is loud too.  But it works and they are probably all like that.

I've noticed much better blood flow, hardness and duration.  I've had sex a few times without any pills and things work OK.  I'm definitely harder if I take a 5mg tablet of Ciallis, but almost too hard if I do.

I'm getting some morning erections when I sleep alone and almost always when I sleep with my partner.

I'm very happy I did this.  I don't feel like ED controls me anymore.  I feel like I have control over my ED.  I suspect the machine would be effective at treating injuries as well.

I bought a different machine.  I posted about it in another thread.  I am very happy with it.  I see no reason why the machine I purchased couldn't be used in a clinic.

The treatments are very helpful.

Thanks !   I never would have bought a shockwave machine were it not for this forum.

I haven't done any measurements.

I'm taking L Critrulline (750mg/day) and B12 (1200 mcg/day) as they are shown to promote Nitric Oxide, which helps with keeping arteries from hardening.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/nitric-oxide-supplements#TOC_TITLE_HDR_7

I am not taking any blood thinners.  My blood pressure is OK.

The Pommegranate/blueberry drink is loaded with anti oxidants.  Vitamin C is also an excellent anti oxidant.  I take several every day.

You are absolutely right about excess weight being bad.  I've put on a lot of weight with COVID.  I can't wait to get back in the gym once it is over.  I lift heavy and I feel it helps a lot.  As does 15-20 minutes in the sauna.

Cardio exercise is great too.  I dated a triathlete and we did a lot of cycling, which was very good for my heart and erections.  Brisk walking doesn't do enough as far as I'm concerned.  I love cycling because I can easily keep my heart rate in the 130-160 range, I stay cool due to the wind it creates and it is easy on the joints.  Be sure to get a good bicycle seat or you can damage the nerves in your perineum.

I do see improvements without Cialis.  I'm now getting morning erections when I haven't taken Cialis for days.

I'm reading about some men who can't get erections when taking Cialis or Viagram.   These drugs just produce nitric oxide to improve blood flow to/in the penis.  However if your heart can't produce enough flow, these drugs won't fix that part of things.  Cycling is a fantastic sport for improving cardio.  It's always fun to race cars or other cyclists.   Plus with stop signs, hills and traffic lights, it becomes stop and go, like sprints or intervals.  It's easy to do HIIT on a bike too.  Much nicer than running, for me, anyway.

Swimming is another good aerobic sport.

The great thing about all these things is that they improve your general health as much

Hi guys.

I bought this Chinese shockwave unit on Amazon.  https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08NDQFVBN  I bought it on Amazon because I know their return policy is good.  If it wasn't decent quality, I could return it.

I'm 53 years old.  I'm 6'1" 250 pounds, a bit over weight though only recently, mostly due to inactivity (not going to the gym) during COVID.  I have good cardio, I don't smoke, I don't have diabetes and I have good circulation. My blood pressure is just slightly high, but nothing to worry about.

Before: I was suffering from slight ED.  I could get an erection with my woman but it wouldn't stay hard for long.  I could maintain an erection while masturbating, but it often went soft.  I did not wake up with erections.

I've done 3 sessions with my shockwave unit over 2 weeks, 6,000 pulses per session at 13Hz and 95 mJ using the 1.5" (approx) dia head.  I work the upper base of the penis, the perineum area and the penis itself.  2,000 pulses per area.

At 95mJ, I feel slightly buzzed after a session, like it works my entire vascular system.  My cock feels worked after a session but not sore.  If that makes any sense.

I am very impressed with the quality of my unit. It is a touchscreen, which I didn't expect.  You can select between Chinese and English.  All the settings and controls make sense.

The user guide is comprehensible and includes a separate section on treating ED.

The wand is very heavy.  The unit comes with a base to set the wand in when not in use.   The wand has a fan in it that runs for a few minutes after the treatment is complete.   The want cord seems high quality.

The unit is noisy as I suspect they all are.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with the seller or the manufacturers.  This is the first shockwave unit I've ever seen or used.

My unit cost C$583 delivered to my door.  Several doctors offer shockwave therapy in my city, at a cost of >$100 per session.  I consider my purchase a very good investme

What is the difference between a shockwave device and a really hard vibrator ?  Like a concrete vibrator or an oscillating sander ?  I'm not thinking of using those devices, but I am curious.

The shock part of the shockwave is a metal projectile (Piezo or air powered) striking the tip of the want, right ?

Thanks for the reply.  And thanks for setting up this forum!

Is she using it on men at that power level ?

Do you agree with her assessment that the lower cost home focused models are a waste of money ?

I have intermittent ED.  I'm so happy to find this website and see some discussion amongst DIYers.

I'm really disappointed in the medical research in this area.   Penises are powered by blood flow and most studies don't correlate any kind of cardio vascular measurements with success.  Some papers don't even mention the pulses and power levels used.

It would be great if people listed their stats when they discuss treatment.  I suggest age, blood pressure, BMI, diabetes (HA1b number), resting heart rate, etc.  Some indication of circulation levels would be interesting too.
