Another one bites the dust
Hi All,
Just found this board after reading Dick's blog on self-administered shockwave therapy.
My story is very typical - I am 50, had mild ED for a while, which responded well to Viagra/Cialis. When my libido dropped to 0 went to a doctor and was diagnosed with low T. Actually it was in non-detectable range on my first visit 
Got on TRT (gel and nasal did not work, do IM injections), which brought me to low end of normal range for my age. Did do nothing for libido and ED though. Plus sex once a month is "normal" at 50 according to my doctor. But not to me, since I love and want my wife no less than when I was 25.
After a lot of researching I tried a couple of different protocols of TRT - HCG, Arimidex, Proviron... No subjective results.
And then radio started advertising shockwave therapy from various clinics around the city (I am in Toronto, Canada). Started researching that and eventually arrived at Dick's blog and then here.
$1000+ for machine is a bit out of my budget, but Amazon seems to offer cheaper alternatives and by the looks of it the difference is only the control block. At least handles look the same on $500 and $2000 dollar machines. Thinking of getting one of those.

The machine is still in the mail and since it's coming from China, I recon it's gonna be my Christmas present, if not new year.

I wish you the best. I think I am going to hae SW by a professional. I may eventually buy a machine for maintenance purposes.

Hey Comer. Welcome. It looks like you've been struggling with libido and ED. Let us know how your shockwave treatments help your ED. I hope you find a solution for your low T and libido issues too. Yes, your doctor is full of BS. Once a month isn't normal.
