a:link { so-language: zxx }I'm a middle age man with a venous leak that gives me erectile dysfunction. Viagra worked for a while, trimix injections don't last long enough, and I've tried many different strengths and dosages. The pump works, but after a few minutes I go numb. I read about success with shockwave treatments, but I can't afford to gamble the $4000-$5000 they cost. I created a blog about my experience administering the treatments myself:

I realize that other men have experience to share, while others are looking for information. Sharing information about shockwave and other treatments for ED is the purpose of this group. Take advantage of it.

I'm Still Limppem.  You may know my twin alter ego, Still Limppen.  He is almost a doppelganger  but he can spell properly.
I  am 65, live in the Mid-Atlantic area.
I had started suffering ED in 1999 from unknown causes, probably health and lifestyle related.
Viagra and generics worked fine but with annoying side effects and increasingly high cost, until they "supposedly" were in danger of interacting with my heart medications.
So I have started a quest for a better bangin' boner

DZappa here in the Northeast. Age 61 and started experiencing mild ED about 2 years ago. Seemed to have developed a slow leak in my tire if you know what I mean. Then got interested in regaining a more youthful functioning through DIY shockwave therapy about 9 months ago and currently own a SW-8.  Interested in compairing notes on treatment protocol and results.

Wow, 9 months. What is your protocol and what results have you had?

Re: I'm Dick Limppen, the group creator

Jay here from cold Canada . Been experiencing ED in various degrees of intensity,  over the last 6 years or so. I’m 52 now. I suffer from high blood pressure, which I believe may be the contributing factor. I do take HP medications for this condition, which according to doctors, should not contribute to my problem. Next step was ED meds. Viagra worked fantastic in the beginning, 1/2 a pill of 25mg would get me rock hard...I miss those days. Now 100 mg barely works for me. I sometimes take 150mg. Other than that, I’m fairly fit and take no other medications, and I don’t smoke.

Things I’ve noticed:
- I don’t get night or morning erections...haven’t in many years, except after taking ed meds.
- Although I eat fairly healthy, I feel that certain foods (and mood)  interfere with the erection quality  when taking ed meds
- not sure of my recent testosterone levels, last time I checked they were in the low end of the normal range, which was a 3-4 years back. They lost my more recent test results

Thanks to Dick,  and his wonderful blog, he inspired me to buy a machine, with the hope of better erections to follow.

So I bought a SW10, same as most users on his blog/board, and currently following a 3 week on protocol of 8 sessions, with a 3 week rest period.  I’ve just completed my 2nd 3 week protocol, which is 16 sessions, so I’m resting until Mid-Feb. I use 15mm head, doing 7000 SW session@130mj. First cycle was 3000 on top, 1000 each side and 1000 per crura. 2nd cycle I switched it up, 2000 each side, 1000 on top, 1000 each crura. Not sure if I’m overdoing it. I also do bathmate penis pumps 5 times a week, usuall after a session if time permits.

So far, I have no positive results to share, well (last Saturday only)  that 100mg viagra seems to be working a little better. Dick’s been helpful providing me hope that results will come after 3 months. I will persevere.  Hoping to get my morning erections back and/or scale back or eliminate the need for ED pills. I just hate timing when to take it, and God forbid I eat Super Bowl food, stuff will never kick in.

Thank you all for reading my post and all the info. you’ve contributed to Dick’s blog and forum....I’m a regular reader, so keep it coming. And thanks again Dick for your contributions to the cause.

Hi Jay,
With the temperatures that you all are experiencing, There is a real physical possibility that someone could drop their pants to take a pee and freeze their balls off.

My doctor also says the blood pressure medications can't cause it, but when I check the side effects of the medicine on the internet ED or sexual dysfunction is listed.

Re: I'm Dick Limppen, the group creator

dicklimppen i wanted to ask you a question. I'm retired mid 60's and going to a urologist next week to discuss trimix. he offered me a prescription several months ago but i wanted to try shockwave first. i see where you are using trimix and wondering if insurance pays any on it.

Re: I'm Dick Limppen, the group creator

Marlin,

My insurance doesn't pay for it. One thing that helps is once you have tried it, if you need say 5ml, ask your doctor for a stonger mix so you only need 1ml. The cost per bottle should be the same.

Dick
